Hey guys, to make a long story short on Saturday I am forced to watch the Ranger playoff game at the Xfinity Center at the sports complex. First off I know its brand new so how is it? And second you think watching the Ranger playoff game is completely possble there considering its on the NBC Sports Network?

P.S. I know you gotta be thinking "wtf are you doing watching the game there?!" But my girl loves the Phillies so I bought tix to the Phils Mets game on Saturday and dont wanna be a Richard and back out. Phils is at 4, Rangers at 7 so I am just trying to get to a TV as fast as possible

Considering Comcast owns NBCSports Network (the headquarters are right across the parking lot from Xfinity Live), you should be able to see it.

I haven't been there, but it's likely that if the game is the same time as a Phillies game, then they won;t be showing the NHL game on the bigger screens...if you can settle for a small one it may work out.

As he said, it is after the Phils game. Unless you get extra innings.

the 5-OT game was game 4, not game 5.

the hate doesn't go that far back. it goes back to 2005. crosby is the reason. obviously the pens beat them in 08 and 09, with health and officiating advantages and were probably the better team regardless, and they have their cup along the way. meanwhile the flyers have a cup loss in '10 and nothing for a long time before that.

the real hate seems to be between a lot of flyers and you over the years. why is that?

Not to be a stickler for details but they won game 4 in 5 OTs if memory serves me correctly.

Some folks just tiptoe around the obvious. Gets in the way of a good story.

I think I'm heading there for the Flyers game Friday night. I know a bunch of people who have went to it so far and have said it's really a good time. Off the top of my head I know there's Nick's Roast Beef, Chickie's and Pete's, and a Victory beer hall.
